Enquire about this wing

The UFO — Ultralight Flying Object — is AirDesign's single-surface wing: only the leading-edge nose section is inflated with cells, and behind it the wing is a single, lightweight sail for getting into the air when every gram counts. Available here in 16, 18 and 20 m². The 18 and 20 are certified EN-A in their standard weight range and EN-B in the extended range; the 16 is EN-B in both. The UFO weighs from 1.59 kg and packs into almost nothing. It launches from a walk, handles predictably, and lands gently — making it accessible to pilots with genuine paragliding experience who want a capable, trustworthy light kit for mountain adventures.

Who is this wing for?

Certification on this wing ranges from EN-A to EN-B depending on size and wing loading. The permitted pilot level depends directly on which size you choose and your all-up weight.

⚠️ Before ordering, always check the size table on this page. The EN class of your specific size must match your experience level — this is a safety-critical step.

Certifications: EN-A to EN-B

EN-A
EN-A carries the highest passive safety rating. On collapse, the wing self-recovers with no pilot input required — the global standard for paragliding schools and recreational flying.

EN-B
EN-B spans a wide range — from low-B (close to A-class safety) to high-B (approaching C-class performance). Collapses require some pilot input to assist recovery.
